With the Christmas countdown coming to an end, I’m sure many of you have already picked out perfect gifts for your loved ones. Those gifts aren’t going to wrap themselves so I am going to show you how to DIY your own one of a kind gift wrap this holiday season! Using old magazines to make wrapping paper is both thrifty and sustainable and the end result is a personalized, chic and creative gift.
WHAT YOU NEED:
-Old Fashion Magazines
-Tape
-Scissors
STEP 1-
Begin by selecting & tearing out pages from your magazines- make it personal by choosing unique pages/photographs/artwork/anything that relate to the interests of or remind you of the receiver of this gift.
STEP 2-
Tape the edges of the magazine pages together from the back/inside of the paper. Make one giant sheet of wrapping paper by taping several pages together.
STEP 3-
Make sure you position the box on the paper so that you have your desired look on the front of the box & have plenty of room on either side to wrap neatly.
STEP 4-
Create a bow topper by using a rectangular magazine cut out. Cut small strips on either side of the paper and form the bottom edges into a circle and secure with tape.
