Q: What is your major?
A: Fashion Merchandising and Design

A: It’s my 1st year designing
Q: Can you describe your style aesthetic?
A: Bohemian, laid back, loose
Q: What is your design process?
A: I didn’t even know how to sew before 3 months ago, I’m kind of winging it. I can sketch well so I sketch and go from there.
Q: How many looks are you creating for the show? Can you describe them?
A: I’m doing two looks; the 1st is a two piece night out fit – bandeau with matching high waisted pants or skirt, and the 2nd piece is a dress inspired by butterfly wings turned sideways
Q: What are you most excited about?
A: My mom is coming from NJ for the show, and to see it all be put together including the set, because I’ve never been to a fashion show before.
Q: What are your post-college goals?
A: This summer I have an internship with Cosmo, but my career goal is to be a fashion assistant; more editorial focused or a stylist for a photoshoot
Q: When did you first realize you wanted to design clothes?
A: I didn’t really know I wanted to do fashion, I just applied to school and applied with a random major and that happened to be FMD
Q: Who is your favorite designer, brand, or fashion house?
A: Urban Outfitters and Free People
Q: Where do you draw your inspiration from?
A: Other people, current trends, and I look at stuff that’s in and twist it and make it my own
