Recap of the 2017 Grammy’s Red Carpet

There was a wide range of styles shown at this year’s Grammy’s. After watching the award ceremony, it was clear Adele and Beyoncé both stole the show, but many other talented artists caught attention for their unique and risky outfit choices. Common trends found on the 2017 Grammy’s red carpet were dresses showing off the inner chest and mixed textures.

Adele was a stunner in this military green Givenchy gown that featured a woven top and sheer sleeves. It fit her classic and modest style while being different and figure flattering.

Lady Gaga showed up in a look many would expect from her a few years ago, but was a little more risqué for modern day Gaga. This ensemble is by Alex Ulichny and consists of fur, pleather, chains, and a whole lot of skin. Gaga is not afraid to take a fashion risk that’s for sure.

Jennifer Lopez on the other hand surprised no one with her high slit and low cut lilac gown by Ralph & Russo. The gown was on the runway only two weeks ago making it one of the most current looks on this years red carpet.

Carrie Underwood matched the carpet this year in her Elie Madi number and followed Jennifer with showing off her inner chest. The sequence and lace gown complimented her simple gold heels and casual updo.

Faith Hill wore a dress that resembled Underwood’s, but was far more understated. The monochromatic ensemble is by Zuhair Murad.

The inner chest appeared again on the red carpet with Demi Lovato’s Julien Macdonald gold mesh dress. She accessorized the look with simple jewelry and loosely curled hair.

Katy Perry’s outfit was one of the more daring looks on the carpet this year. The Tom Ford dress featured two different textures, sequins and fur, which made for a unique and editorial look. Her new blonde bob and smokey eye makeup complimented the outfit well.

Rihanna showed off her chest tattoo in an Armani Privé dress and also supported the mixed textures trend. Her sequins orange crop top and full black skirt flattered her olive skin tone and slim body.

The fashion at this years Grammy’s was unusual as ever. Overall, the stars went for unique and head-turning looks, and for us fashion lovers, no one’s complaining.

And then there was CeeLo Green…
