Whether you’re downtown with friends, in for the night studying, or working, weekends can get busy! Sunday’s are my favorite day to recharge, relax, and reset myself for the upcoming week. My favorite way to do so is with a face mask and a good book or movie in front of me. My skin is dehydrated and dull after the weekend, especially if I’m going out and wearing more makeup than usual. Here are a few amazing masks from the drugstore and a few higher end products if you are looking to splurge.
Studio 35 Detoxifying Black Charcoal Mask
A favorite of mine is the Studio 35 Detoxifying Black Charcoal Mask. You can find this at your local pharmacy and it is only $3.99! The minute you put it on, you can feel the coolness on your skin. The charcoal in this mask is meant to absorb excess dirt and grime from your pores and leave skin feeling refreshed. I would definitely recommend this one as an affordable option, plus you get so much product, so it lasts for awhile!
GlamGlow Supermud Clearing Treatment
If you like the idea of a charcoal mask, I would recommend the GlamGlow Supermud Clearing Treatment as a more expensive option at $69.00 standard size, and for the mini, $24.00. With that being said, this mask definitely has more visible results that make the price worthwhile. This is designed to not only clear pores, but minimize acne and blemishes immediately, if not within a few applications. I bought this mask with my beauty insider points from Sephora and I could literally feel the mask pulling the dirt out of my pores. It is very powerful and can leave your skin feeling a bit dry afterwards, but don’t worry, you can always try a sample before committing to the full size.
Too Cool For School Pumpkin 24K Gold Sheet Mask
Another option from Sephora is the Too Cool For School Pumpkin 24K Gold Sheet Mask. It’s awesome and comes in super cute, fall packaging which is a nice touch! At only $8.00 it is definitely a reasonable price as well! The 24K gold brightens complexion and adds radiance. Sheet masks are great because you can apply them without getting product all over your hands. This mask will leave the texture of your skin soft and smooth.
Pumpkin Enzyme Mask
The Pumpkin Enzyme Mask by Peter Thomas Roth is on the pricier side at $58.00, but goes along with the same fall theme as the mask prior! This mask exfoliates and polishes, leaving your skin glowing and soft. It burns a bit at first, but trust me it is a good burn! If you love the smell of pumpkin pie, consider investing in this mask. If not, there are so many other options to choose from.
Renewing Cucumber Peel Off Gel Mask by Freeman
Last but not least, I really enjoy the Renewing Cucumber Peel Off Gel Mask by Freeman. This can be purchased at your local pharmacy for around $5.00! The cucumber and aloe is extremely soothing and cools your skin instantaneously. My skin is insanely soft after using this for ten to fifteen minutes. The peeling part of this mask may shy you away from trying it, but it is super easy and not scary at all. It comes right off!
