Tis’ the season to be styling. The holiday season is a great time to show of your style with an added flair for the festivities. This holiday style guide, modeled by our fellow Virginia Tech students Makahla Stout and Molly Crews, can help you find the perfect outfit for the holidays!

For those who opt for a more casual Thanksgiving, putting just a few wardrobe staples together can be all you need.  Start with a simple fall-colored top and your favorite pair of jeans. Spice it up like your lattes with a pair of booties. For a final touch, add an eye-catching statement necklace like Makahla.

On the other hand, dressing for a more formal Thanksgiving can be just as easy. A trendy dress in your favorite fall color can make the perfect outfit. You can keep it fall oriented with your favorite heeled booties. Complete the look with a flashy necklace and layered bracelets.

Make it a cozy, casual Christmas with your favorite winter pieces. Pair a button-up flannel and a vest with your favorite pair of jeans to keep warm this year. You can also dress up the look with some heeled booties. For extra flair, add a simple necklace like Molly.

For a more formal Christmas, you can opt for a dressed-up look. Start with a classic dress like this suede, mock neck dress. You can pair it with your favorite booties or heels. For a touch of jewelry, you can wear your favorite earrings or necklace.

A casual countdown to the New Year is the perfect opportunity to wear your favorite sweater. You can dress it up with a jacket like this quilted one. Add some dark denim jeans and booties. Then, complete the look with a delicate necklace and some bracelets or a watch.

For a fancier New Year’s Celebration, you can go with a more dramatic look. Ring in the New Year with the bolder clothes in your closet like a jumpsuit.
