Jump Into Warm Weather

Jump into the warmer months with a jumpsuit!! Recently, I was at TJ Maxx and I couldn’t help but notice the wide variety of colorful and floral jumpsuits they had hanging. I picked through some and realized how trendy and fun jumpsuits actually are. I noticed the same sort of display in few other stores I shop at too. Jumpsuits are making a very big comeback.

Since I am so short, I have always been afraid of jumpsuits and stuck more to rompers. I do love rompers because they’re so comfy and flowy, perfect for the very hot summer months. My sister actually bought her first jumpsuit a few years ago, and since then I’ve seen a few people where them here and there. I just have a feeling that this summer they are going to be the fashion statement of the season.

I noticed that many of the jumpsuits I saw were either pastel colored or floral printed. I feel like as much as people want to move away from the floral prints, they’re not really going anywhere. Every year it seems as though new floral trends hit the streets and this year it definitely seems to be pastel florals. I think that pastels are always a great color choice because it really sets the mood for spring. Even though Mother Nature hasn’t fully decided on what season it is, it’s always a good idea to bring the feeling of spring to the world, even if it is through clothes.

Personally, I think jumpsuits are a little more fun than maxi dresses, especially for formals coming up for sororities. Since I’m so short, it’s always hard to find longer dresses that look decent. In my recent shopping, I tried on a few jumpsuits only to realize that they don’t look half bad at all. They’re so comfortable, but can easily be dressed up or dressed down for any occasion. If you wear a cute jumpsuit and throw on some wedges or fun heels then you’ve got a look to serve.

Be sure to keep an eye out for jumpsuits while getting some summer shopping done, maybe even add one to your list!
