When I think of the typical fall outfit, the colors that come to mind are the classic browns, burgundy, and shades of orange. If you’re feeling bored with these, or just want to spice up your fall wardrobe, keep reading for a few unique trends to try this Fall!
1. Cheetah Print
Cheetah is taking over stores window displays and the runway this Fall. Supermodels and celebrities are wearing cheetah in all forms: coats, bags, belts, and dresses. While it may seem a little bit “out there” this print is actually incredibly easy to style and incorporate to your everyday wardrobe or for a night out. A cheetah belt is the perfect accessory for someone who may be hesitant to try this pattern. Wear it with a black bodysuit, leather jacket, a pair of boots and you’re out the door. If you’re feeling bold, make an investment purchase on a warm, fur cheetah coat. This looks awesome over a graphic tee and can be dressed up for special occasions. In my opinion, I think the cheetah trend is here to stay as long as it’s tastefully added to your outfit.
Corduroy to me is such a cool and comfortable fabric to add to your fall style. High-waist pants in bold colors like forest green, navy, and red immediately make you stand out. Free People has so many amazing styles right now, if you really want to make a statement check out their “Just Float on Cord Flare“. Forever 21 is a great affordable option and they carry a lot of different styles as well as jackets. A cropped corduroy jacket would look awesome with a cool pair of Levi’s and boots.
If you’re afraid of bold patterns, you may think this trend isn’t for you, but with the right styling, wearing plaid can make anyone look put-together. Dresses, in my opinion, are so easy to throw on. Most people ditch their summer dresses after August, but pairing a simple, solid, turtleneck under a plaid dress is a great way to get many uses out of your clothing. Throw on a jean jacket if it’s chilly and you have a super trendy, unique fall outfit. Plaid is a really easy print to wear because all you need is plain basics to go with it.
Go ahead and wear all those classic fall colors, but do not be afraid to try one of these trends. Standing out is a good thing and every girl is capable of pulling off the styles I mentioned. Use these tips to spice up your wardrobe and make yourself stand out this Fall!
