Throughout the months, I have been purchasing makeup and skincare products to find the best one. Sometimes it has been hard to see which products work the best because there are so many different opinions online through apps like Tiktok, but I finally think I have curated the best from the worst.
The first product I live by is CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion. This product is unscented and seems very good for all skin types as it is just a basic all around moisturizer. After moisturizer I am beyond obsessed with the Milk Hydro Grip Hydrating Makeup Primer. As you apply this product, you start to feel a cooling sensation on your face. This product is the holy grail to covering up my pores and giving me that glass face look.
When it comes to foundation, my favorite investment I have ever made is the Giorgio Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Foundation. A little goes a long way with this product, but after applying it gives you the most perfect and dewey skin. For more fancier occasions I will mix in the Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter Primer to give me that perfect shine. Depending on the day, I will usually apply foundation with a brush for a more full coverage look or a beauty blender for a more subtle natural application.
A powder that everyone has always heard of is the Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder. This product has been around for a long time, but has always seemed to be the best. If my pores seem to be showing a little extra that day, I always tend to pat the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder on top which always makes my face poreless.
For eyebrows, I have used the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz for years. The pencil has a super fine tip which gives you a very clean canvas for the perfect percision. This product costs $23.00, but one pencil has always seemed to last me multiple months since not a lot is needed. I also spent years trying to find the perfect eyeliner. With double eyelids, I always found it hard to find an eyeliner that won’t smudge throughout the night. My go to product for that is the KVD Beauty Tattoo Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner. This eyeliner is extremely pigmented and sits on the skill perfectly.
For mascara, I have never been super picky and usually purchase them through the drugstore since there are so many options to choose from. A makeup business near my hometown named TonyMoly seemed to have the best mascaras I have ever tried. My favorite one is The Shocking Cara in 02. All their mascaras are waterproof and never smudges throughout the day. Its formula also seems to keep my lash curled all day.
Last but not least my favorite highlighter that I have seen so many people use, but looks so good on all different types of skin tone is the Benefit Cosmetics Cookie Powder. This product glides so easily on the skin and is so luminous, but subtle. When applying this product a little goes a long way as the product is very pigmented.
